The Bills jumped out to an early lead and coasted behind an efficient offensive performance and dominant defensive play.

James Cook led the way with two rushing touchdowns. Cook made a sensational, ankle-breaking 44-yard rush in the second quarter to add to the highlight reel from an otherwise quiet and workmanlike performance.

The Bills defense didn’t allow the Jets near the end zone until garbage time. Buffalo’s defense, playing without Ed Oliver, Taron Johnson, and Maxwell Hairston, held the Jets to under 100 total yards well into the fourth quarter.

Justin Fields completed just 3-of-11 passes for 27 yards before leaving the game with a concussion early in the fourth quarter.
